Our History
Serving the Metro East and St. Louis area since 1996, our company has a long-standing reputation for excellence. In October 2018, Mike Castelli took over ownership, bringing with him a wealth of construction knowledge gained from running his own home construction and excavating companies for 25 years.
Cast Construction is a true family business. Mike is joined by his son, Michael, as a project manager, and his granddaughter, Chloe, in accounting. Together, we are dedicated to improving our community and delivering well-built projects at affordable prices.

Meet Our Team
Michael Castelli
Owner
Michael Castelli began his career in the construction industry during high school, working for his parents' company, Castelli Homes and Excavating. Operating in the Edwardsville and Glen Carbon area, the business built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes at reasonable prices. Working alongside his father, Michael developed a foundation in business operations, which he later applied to managing a restaurant. He expanded his technical expertise working at a local lumberyard, where he mastered project estimating and acquired an in-depth knowledge of building products before returning to the family construction business. When he is not on the job site, Michael enjoys riding his Harley, playing pool, and spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their two sons, Sebby and Gus.
Eric Castelli
Senior Software Developer
Eric brings his technical expertise to the family business, leveraging his professional background as a software developer. With a strong foundation in backend programming and system automation, he engineered the Cast Construction website to modernize the company's digital footprint. When he isn't writing code or developing trading algorithms, Eric enjoys grilling, tending to his garden, and exploring local parks. He lives in Crestwood with his wife, Sophia, their two young sons, Alex and Chris, and their dog, Mooshy.
