Michael Castelli

Owner

Michael began working in the construction business during high school when his dad, jointly with his mom, ran a successful excavating and new home construction business. Well known in the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area, Castelli Homes and Excavating earned a reputation of offering high quality homes at reasonable prices. Michael has continued to work side by side with his father since then, most recently by running a restaurant. He learned estimating and acquired in-depth knowledge of construction products while he worked at a local lumberyard, but left there to join the family business. When he’s away from the job, Michael enjoys riding his Harley, playing pool and spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their two young sons, Sebby and Gus.

Eric Castelli

Senior Software Developer

Eric brings his technical expertise to the family business, leveraging his professional background as a software developer. With a strong foundation in backend programming and system automation, he engineered the Cast Construction website to modernize the company's digital footprint. When he isn't writing code or developing trading algorithms, Eric enjoys grilling, tending to his garden, and exploring local parks. He lives in Crestwood with his wife, Sophia, their two young sons, Alex and Chris, and their dog, Mooshy.
